Fun at the Lake

We have been to the lake several times this summer. Every time we go Laurel just has a wonderful time. She LOVES the water, she LOVES the waves, she LOVES the playground, she LOVES the sand, and she LOVES the ducks, she LOVES the other kids. What more could a girl ask for? I don't usually bring my camera to the beach, but here are a few cute shots of Laurel from our lake trips.

In case you can't tell, she is eating the bread instead of throwing in to the ducks!

I love that picture of her from behind... such cute little pudgy legs! (which makes me wonder why pudgy legs don't look so cute on a grown woman...)

I was in Atlanta over the weekend and went in an Archiver's store... scrapbooking supplies... oh, it was wonderful! Made me want to do some traditional scrapbooking again.

She has some sturdy little legs for sure. They are strong too! I don't get it either. Fat little tummies and chubby legs are so cute on babies and toddlers...no fair!

I love traditional scrapbooking, but have not done it since Laurel was born. I'm finally starting to get prints of my pictures made because I want to start again! I used to go to scrapbooking parties. So fun, we would scrap until the wee hours of the morning!

Thanks for your sweet comments about my first year of teaching! Boy, was it a learning experience for me!

Maybe (maybe) we can get together and scrap sometime. Hannah would be great with Laurel. Kids love her and she loves them.... I have no idea when I could do it, of course, with school starting, but it would be a fun thing to do sometime.

In the meantime, you really need to play with the digital scrapbooking tools at scrapblog.com. (I promise they don't pay me!) It's easy to learn. I could even stay after school and show it to you if you want to come by sometime.

I'm so glad we've become "bloggy" friends! Wish you were teaching with me again, but I know you wouldn't want to trade this special time with Laurel for anything!
